(We apologise for the delay. Time to get this party started.)

Ivan played with his hands nervously as he checked his appearance in the mirror one final time. Why was he so worried? What was he worried about? Toris would like this outfit... Of course he would, it was a very good outfit made especially for him by his tailor, he looked fantastic in it... And yet, he couldn't shake that anxiousness that Toris wouldn't like it. He swallowed and rubbed at his neck with the palm of his hand.

For once he wasn't wearing his scarf - well, it was hardly right for an event like this. His clothes were smart and surpringly modern, considering the sort of thing he usually wore, but with several traditional details as well.

He brushed a lock of hair to the side of his face and walked out of his dorm to go and meet Toris.

The day before, he'd written a letter to his boyfriend about how much he missed him, and how much he wanted to see him in the dress he'd had made for him, and then put the letter outside the door of Toris's dorm, along with the dress. Ivan really hoped Toris would be wearing the dress, but doubted it would actually happen.

At this point it barely mattered, though. He hadn't seen Toris in so long. He just wanted to get his hands on him now. He wondered how he was going to control himself throughout the dance until they could get back to one of the dorms.

He arrived at Toris's dorm and knocked on the door, quickly swiping at his hair once more as he waited for Toris with a shy smile.

Sadiq really didn't want to go. Plenty of better things to do than watch a bunch of kids slow dance and kiss awkwardly to piped in music. Still, the headmaster asked him too and he had to at least show up.......for a while. He shrugged and walked through the campus, observing the kids bustling around getting ready.

He adjusted the collar of his shirt and entered the hall. Not much going on yet. He reached in his pocket and fingered the pack of cigs in it. He was going to need them.

He stood off to the side of the room, sighed, and adjusted his mask. Time to get to work.

Gilbert was getting ready in his room. He was slightly nervous but he thought he would be fine. This wasn't really his type of party. he would rather drive into town and go to one of the clubs but he had promised Matt he would go. So here he was getting ready. He was a little worried. That girl was still bothering Matthew and after the whole thing with Roderich he really wasn't looking forward to the dance. But he was awesome and he was popular so he had to go. But he was thinking he would just ask Matt if they wanted to leave early.

He wore a white suit with black undershirt and vest. His tie was red the same colour as his eyes. He put a bit of hair product in, checked himself in the mirror one last time. He approved greatly if he did so say himself. "Niyo Niyo~ awesome"

He left his room and walk down the halls towards Matts room. He knocked on the door and waited for the other to answer.

Dancing is considered too intimate for the Chinese... however all students are required to attend and with so he will also have to watch over his siblings. He asked his younger sister Lien as his date... just because he doesn't want his sister to go out with other guys.

Yao dressed on his tuxedo, which is the proper attire for men although he's not really comfortable on it. He walked to the common room and waits for his other siblings especially Lien since in the official list she's his date.... well it's not like he will follow the western customs. He will go to the main hall with all his siblings.

Dae Hyung never wanted to go to the dance in the first place, and told the people he knew he wasn't going. But it was necessary that all students attend, and Dae Hyung was included in that list of people. Li persuaded him to go, but Dae Hyung agreed only if he could wear a disguise to the dance. With Cameron's help, he finally picked out something that he felt could hide his true identity.

Of course, even though he was wearing a disguise didn't mean that Dae Hyung was completely safe from others noticing him. So he talked it out with Cameron, and it was decided that he would hang around with Cameron and Li for the majority of the dance, meeting them after they already entered the Main Hall. He couldn't follow them in with Yao and the others right there.

Sighing, Dae Hyung gathered up all the pieces of his disguise and started to get ready. First of all, he needed to get rid of his ahoge. It was like his trademark sign, and if anyone saw it, they would immediately recognize him. He considered using gel, but the thing had a face. It also moved by its own accord, which convinced him that it also had, believe it or not, feelings. So he decided to use tape. The ahoge wasn't going to be happy, but it'll have to do until the dance was over. Grabbing some tape off of his study desk, he carefully grabbed his ahoge and tried to press it to the side of his head. It was really awkward. Not only was the ahoge his erogenous zone, but it also struggled against him. After much agony, and the ahoge making angry faces at him, Dae Hyung managed to tape it to his head.

Reaching across the table, he clipped his ponytail onto his head and put on the wig Cameron styled for him. It was short and straight, chestnut brown with darker strands in between. Carefully brushing it to look normal, Dae Hyung searched around for his contacts. Not that his vision was bad at all, it's just that the contaces were colored. Finding them in his drawer, Dae Hyung stuck them onto his eyes and admired his reflection in the mirror. "Not bad.... Hazel was a good choice." Frowning slightly, he reluctantly put on the makeup that Cameron chose for him, along with the pair of framless glasses.

The last thing was the tuxedo, which was in simple black and white. Looking at his full reflection, Dae Hyung didn't quite recognize himself. Hopefully that was going to keep everyone else from doing so either. Now to wait until he was sure Yao and the others had left...

He arrived at Toris's dorm and knocked on the door, quickly swiping at his hair once more as he waited for Toris with a shy smile.

Since yesterday, it had taken quite a few rounds of pacing, a couple of drinks, and a lovely self-lecture on how wearing a dress was no big deal. After all, Feliks did it all the t-... Okay, probably not the best example in the world, but either way, Toris had eventually swallowed his pride and had actually put the dress on for Ivan.

His initial reaction to his reflection, almost complete and utter horror because the bottom of the skirt didn't even reach the middle of his thigh and showed a lot more skin than he would have liked and the belt almost gave him a girl's waist. However, after the shock wore off, Toris had to admit... He looked good in that dress. After a minute of thought, he noticed that just keeping his hair down the way he normally did seemed to take away from the dress, so he grabbed one of his hair-ties and pulled half his hair to the back, but keeping his bangs loose. "Better..."

When Ivan finally came knocking on the door, Toris was just tying the long laces of the heels that had come with the dress. How he was going to be able to walk in them, he had no idea, but he figured that Ivan would be around him enough that if he started to fall, Ivan would be less than a breath away to catch him. "The door is open, Ivan," he called out, standing up and brushing off the too-short skirt as the door opened.

Ivan pushed the door open slowly, and peered inside in his usual creepy fashion, before stepping into the room. His breath caught in his throat for a moment as he realised Toris was actually wearing the dress. And, oh god, he looked so beautiful in it. Even better than Ivan thought he would.

The Russian crept forward, unable to take his eyes away from the figure before him. Toris looked so delicate... As if a single touch would break him... But Ivan knew better, Ivan knew he could take harsh punishment and still beg for more. He felt the familiar powerful desire filling him already, and tried to fight it down. Too soon, too soon...

So the dance was finally here! The entire day had been charged with the buzz of last-minute preparation and talk and activity, and it was really all very exciting.

He was certainly excited! Yong Soo half-skipped, half-bounded down the hall to the common room, where aniki and everyone would be. He did this perhaps a little too well for someone in such long skirts, which additonally seemed intent on tripping him up (with miraculously little avail).

Yong Soo was pretty pleased about the dress, actually. It was all soft and floaty and comfortable, and the kind of colour like it had been snipped out of a dusk sky. Plus he'd managed to do up all the laces himself, which he was rather proud of. The ribbon in his hair included!

And so attired, Yong Soo sprung into the common room and, immediately spotting aniki, called out to him cheerfully. "Annyeongggg!"
